Floor Plan Development

In all manuals and programs, the need to have clear and concise instructions on ‘What’ to do and ‘Where’ the escape routes are, and where to gather when clear of the building, as they are all critical to a safe process to remove occupants, employees and/or the public from a potentially life-threatening situation. It is the reason that almost every developed country has Fire Codes and Building Codes to govern practices as a minimum standard. Floor Plans and a clear set of posted instructions are a requirement of every Fire Code, Nationally and Provincially, in Canada. We specialize in this product, working off everything from hand drawings to highly detailed digital AutoCAD files from engineers and architects. We provide this service in (3) three basic formats - Microsoft PowerPoint, PDF and AutoCAD. Each has its benefit and preferences from our clients. The most common floor plans are developed in MS PowerPoint and general staple for most PC and MAC users. AutoCAD is a highly specialized program that requires a specialized program to read and manipulate the file. Both formats are sent to our clients as PDFs with the document. Since there is a greater time and expense in AutoCAD we provide the MS PowerPoint format in all our programs unless requested to upgrade to AutoCAD at an additional fee. Fee’s start at $795 for most properties below 6 stories and 20,000 sq.ft. We can develop basic Floor Plans for most any use, rentals, leasing, fire plan, escape routes, etc.
